Reinhard was a founding member of RAK Mining and Construction CC (the “R” in the name “RAK”) and had more than twenty-nine years’ experience in financial management in South Africa, of which the last ten years was held in a top financial position. He was a finance consultant, entrepreneur and trouble shooter, and also served on the board of Grand Battery Technologies Pty Ltd. He was also a founding member of RAKCRETE (Pty) Ltd and P² Mining (Pty) Ltd.
His legacy is his assistance and guidance in the growth of the business through his robust and unconventional business approach, for which he was well respected.

During 1995, Andre Pelser became a founding member of the initial entity, RAK Mining and Construction CC (the ”A” in the name “RAK”), and was also later founding shareholder of holding company Rhino Africa Mining Holdings (Pty) Ltd and the associated companies NEWRAK Mining (Pty) Ltd, RAKCRETE (Pty) Ltd and P² Mining (Pty) Ltd.
Andre had more than 30 years’ underground production experience, of which eight years were as production Mine Overseer in deep level gold mines. During his career as Mine Overseer he had been awarded the Mine Overseers Safety and Production Shields on Hartebeestfontein Gold Mine numerous times.
He was a team player and his excellent leadership qualities were well-known and widely respected throughout the mining industry.
He left a lasting legacy through his role in the establishment and growth of the above mentioned companies.
